This year, the IDA family day is held at the USS. However we are entitled to buy ticket @ $30 for employee, and tickets at discounted price for family members. What i like about this year Family day is there is no activities! Yeah, own time own target!
So we headed in to USS early in the morning at 1030am! Reaching there, we tried to bring John and Joy for the first ride, Crate Adventure, which is river boat ride. But John was crying badly, and I have to carry him out of the boat while Daddy, Joy and Ayu went ahead with the ride. As usual, Joy started to cry when she sees me! I managed to settle down John before taking over Joy from Daddy. The only ride that they enjoyed was the carousel, in which they took 3 times through the entire day in USS!
We managed to catch the Seseam Street Stage shows at the New York section. And we went for the Seseam Street show - When I grow up twice. Cos the rest of the rides are too challenging for the JJ. Ah Dear and I managed to "escape" and queued for the Transformer ride when the JJ were taking a short nap. Thank to Ayu, who was there to look after them. Of cos to make the ticket worth it, I asked Ayu to go for "Light, Camera, Action" as well as the 3D show at "Far Far away" Land. Oh, we managed to catch the "Donkey Live" show. Thank to Paul and the Teo family who were queueing for the show, which convinced the JJ to join in the show!
We had pizza for dinner before heading for the fireworks show at 8pm. Of cos, the 2 JJ were scared due to the loud noise of the fireworks and cried to go home. After the show, we took the bus out of Sentosa before hopping to another bus back home. So once, i'm so glad my house is so near Sentosa!
