Legoland Trip

This is our 2nd trip to Legoland. Amanda was monitoring Leogland's promotion and notified me that room rate was cheaper and "jio" us. So we decided to go along with the Teo family. I guess it's the non-peak season, hence the room rate is abt $216 SG per night comparing to having to pay abt $500 per night during the school holidays.

So on 6 Oct, we prempted the kids that we will have to get up early and bath. After which, Uncle Marcus will be coming to pick us up. Whenever it's holidays, the kids will auto get up, finish their milk and have their bath. Super-co-operative! Since we were early, the traffic was slow from SG city to Tuas and to Legoland. However we are not able to check in the room till 4pm. We left our luggage with the hotel and head straight to the Legoland since we bought a 2-day pass!

As usual, the first activity was the 'Junior Driving school', and we decided to print their license again since the conversion rate of SG to Ringgit is 1:3 now! After which, we headed for the Remote Control Boat. Again, the kids wanted to try out the fire engines/ambulances at the 'Lego Rescue Academy', where the parents have to work hard to move the vehicles and ensure a supply of water from the hydrant to put out the fire! By then it's noontime, we decided to head out for lunch as the "daddies" prefer the food outside the LegoPark! So we headed to Old -Town for our lunch.

After lunch, we continued to the 'Land of City' for the kids to try out the 'City Airport' ride. At the 'Land of Adventure', the adults decided to get wet and try out the 'Dino Island' ride while the kids were with Ah Dear. Next the kids went into the 'Imgination' area, to try their hands on fix lego cars and race with the others. By then it's abt 3+ pm, so we headed back to change before heading down to the Water park.

As it was an Sunday, it was crowded with people. We played till 6pm till the park announced it's closure. And we headed back to bath before heading out for dinner. We went to the same Zhi-cha restaurant during our 1st trip to Leogland. Of cos, thanks to Marcus who always drove us around. And best, the kids knocked out in the car. So we ended with 3 sleeping kids during dinner. I managed to wake 2 JJ, using our mobile to keep them entertained.

After dinner, we headed back to hotel. Instead of resting, Joy requested to go to "LG" - Level Ground which is the level for the soft play for kids. She wants to build her castle. Since it's a holiday, we let the kids have fun before heading back to bed at 10pm.
