Short Trip to Johor- KSL

26 Dec, it's our wedding anniversary. Instead of celebrating between us, we went on a short trip with with my family to Johor. 

Ah Bee recommended us to buy the train ticket to escape the traffic jam across the customs. And indeed, the train ride was a brisk of 5 min. Prior to that, Musheng and Ah Bee had to make a separate trip to get the train tickets for us  cos their KTM e-tickets are not really so E after all! Kudos for their effort to get us the tickets! 

After clearing the customs, we headed straight to City square for our brunch before we start our shopping spree. Next to City Square, there is another building - Komtar, where the kids had fun with the car ride and art work. The amount I usually pay for the car ride in Vivo city is enough for the kids to play an hour in Johor. Woo hoo.. I love SG when we benefitted from the exchange rate of SG dollars to Ringgit currently!

After the shopping, we split up in groups and cab down to KSL hotel. While some of us were staying in KSL hotel, Ah Bee and the other group were staying at KSL apartment. Upon checking in, the kids requested to head down to the swimming pool, while Ah Dear went to get some lunch for us. The Dinosaur pool is free as long as you are staying in the KSL hotel or the apartment.

After the swim, we were just waiting for the sun to set down. The key highlight of this trip was the NIGHT MARKET! Like many Singaporeans, we have crossed the causeway for the food! It was super crowded since it's a long weekend holiday in SG. As we walked, we were split up. Knowing our family who love food, each of us simply bought something to share. Our food ranges from Fried bee hoon, roast pork, roast duck, chee chong fun, chwee kueh, Ah-yu drinks. We headed back to the  KSL apartment as there is a dining area. And let's feast! 

It was a short trip of 2D1N but nevertheless it's always fun to travel with family!
