Zoo Trip on 7 Mar 2015
I was thinking...I better try to ballot for the corporate pass just before the 2 JJ turns to 3 years old in the upcoming 20 Mar 2015. Cos the 2 JJ will require entry tickets once they are 3 years old.
So coincidentally, Marcus managed to ballot for the corporate pass and we decided to head down to the zoo together. Of Cos, we also "jio" the rich man family as well. *rich man refer to Keng Kian. haha.
So we met up with Teo family and had our brunch at our hawker market before driving down to the zoo. Upon reaching the zoo, we headed down for the show. After the show, our dear Uncle Marcus was a great guide, he knows the direction and the feeding time of the animals. So he brought the kids and us straight to the Giant Tortoise. And of cos, nothing is free in SG, so we have to pay $5 bucks for 5 person to feed the giant tortoise. Of cos, it's was interesting to know that the smallest giant tortoise weighs abt the same weight as my ah Dear, which is 110kg!
Next we headed down to the Giraffe, which is a long queue to feed the long necked animal! So while Uncle Marcus queued, the rest of us were starting to munch on bread, fruits brought by me and Aunt Hwee Li. It's was refreshing to have fruits, esp it was a hot day. But the 2 JJ were too scared to feed the giraffe, esp it stick out it's long tongue for the carrots. Not to say JJ, I was quite scared to feed the giraffe too!
After which, we decided to feed the humans, so we headed down to the Ah Meng Kitchen. And basket..it's almost $10 for a plate of chicken rice! Omg! It's really expensive to eat at the zoo.
Next stop, the goat feeding @ Rainforest. This time round, it's the 2nd experience for the JJ. And John john is more daring to just feed the goats by himself. As for JoyJoy, she is quite scared of the bigger goats, esp they made alot of noise, so she was only willing to feed the small goats. For John, he has been feeding one of the goats patiently and he was telling me "Mummy, I sayang the goat"... i it was when i turned and i realised he was stretching his hand in to touch the goat what he has been feeding the last 10-15 min. I guess the goat likes John too!
By then, the kids are more or less tired out. So the last stop was the Hippo before we head home. And JoyJoy KO when she sat at the stroller on the way out. And John KO after his milk feed in the car.
Anyway thank to Uncle Marcus, we had a great time!
