Luge time @ Sentosa

26 Sep is another day that the kids childcare is closed. There was a promotion of getting the Monorail ticket at $1 being a Safra member. So Ah Dear managed to get tickets by utilising Teo's family Safra member card as well. Earlier, on 2 Sep, we had a staycation in Sofitel Sentosa. But we did not ride on the Luge. Hence we decided to make another trip back to Sentosa to make it up.

So we had a quick breakfast in our market before taking a bus down to the Monorail station. We alighted at the Beach station and the Skyline Luge was located next to it. We brought the kids to take a look as we were quite worried about John as he is less adventurous of the 2 kids. Luckily Joy was daring enough to take the sky-ride and John decided to follow suit. So we bought tickets for 3 rides. Together we took the sky-ride up. Really Thank God, John was obedient enough to sit still and Ah Dear padlock John using his arms. I was quite worried that he would stand up and the consequence will be terrible! Of cos John was saying "I'm scared" mid-way the skyride. We diverted his attention to the Sky tower by telling him it's the Paw Patrol Tower Station. And we sang along and soon we reached the station. And the kids had a great fun riding down the slope and we continued the next 2 rounds. No wonder the slogon of Luge is "once is never enough!"

After the luge ride, we headed to Mac for our lunch. We decided to head to the next attraction point, Siloso Point which is a new 11-storey skywalk trail. It was opened recently. Of cos, it's free admission! LOL. John was scared to walk as part of the flooring was made of glass panel and you can see through all the way down - abt 181 metres. We managed to convince him to walk the trail after telling him it's concrete at the other end!

Next we went to check out the Cable car which has been extended over to Fort Siloso. And with Ah Dear's DBS credit card, we managed to get $5.50 ticket for per head. We decided to get the tickets as the kids had not ride on a cable car before. Instead of the kids being the scary cats, Ayu is the one who is really scared of the cable ride! But i guess the scenary up there take away their fear after a while. We had a round ride, and returned back to Fort Siloso. By then, the kids were tired, we decided to head back home by taking the bus to Beach station to catch the monorail back to main land.
First try on the Luge for JJ!
