Day 5 - Bye By to Farmstay, back to Melbourne City

Day 5, it's time to say bye bye to the farm and head back to Melbourne city. The good thing about having holiday in Melbourne, you can take your time, and no one will rush you to check out by 10am! So we had our breakfast and put our stuff back into the car. And of cos we headed back to Wendy's house to make the payment and take a group pic before we left.

And today is my day... to re-visit my school and houses that I stayed when i was studying my degree in 2000/2001. By noon, we reached Deakin, and we got off the car so everyone can do some stretching exercise and had their toilet break. So I took some pictures of my school, while Ah Ping brought JoyJoy to buy a cup of hot chocolate. After which, I navigated the road to head back to Fairview St, where Emily, Eunice and I used to stay together. Following which, I headed down to Regent St. I walked into the garden to take picture and the current tenant came and asked. So I told him that I used to rent the house from Maria, and if she is still around. He pointed to me Maria house, as i have forgotten which one is her. Maria was so happy to see me, esp after so many years! I guess she can't remember our names, but she is more than happy for us to pay her a visit!

Next we went down to Pizzaland to have our lunch.. Yeah Yeah, Baby octupus! I'm back! Woohoo!

So we had a heavy lunch at Pizzaland before driving back to Melbourne city. We headed straight to Westfield to top up the food supply. Instead of going to Coles, we headed into K-mart for shopping instead. We saw a Chinese restaurant, so we thou we can "ta-bao" fr there after shopping. And we forgot the operating hours in Australia is till 6pm! So when we are out of K-mart at 7pm, all the restaurants were closed!

So we have to buy more raw ingredients for cooking before heading back to Quest. Reaching at Quest, the luggage were put back into our room. I decided to use the leftover chicken drumsticks to cook black soya chicken with diced pototoes to go with the porridge. And pretty the same dishes as the farm stay, we cooked asparagus and mushroom again! We were so hungry that we just dig in, no pic taken! hahaha!
