Day 9 - Sob..last day of our Holiday

Good time pass fast.. this is true. Today was the end of our holiday. As the 2 aunties kept nagging over the purchases of nougats, we decided to head back to Queen Victoria again to try our luck. This time, I had Clarine Tan's advise on where the nougat stall is likely to be. So it was easy to locate the stall with so many sheds in the market.

After breakfast, we loaded our luggage all into the van. It was fully packed that we even have to put some small bags at the front, near the gear box! Pengz..at this moment, I was glad that Jane did not join us, else i don't think we could make it to the airport! We probably would need another car for the luggage!

Upon reaching the market, we split in different ways. I took John with me, along with the 2 aunties to search for the nougat stall, Ah Ping took Joy to head down to the lanolin Cream stall and Ah Dear was rushing to get another pair of shoes of his size! I managed to find the nougat stall, which was located in the middle of the shed, by following the yellow lines, advised by another candy shop owner. So the aunties were happy. And I bought 2 sets of towels for JJ, which have the Princess, Peppa Pig and Thomas the train print on it before heading to eat another round of donut jam! Omg.. my donut jam.. i will be so missing you! Of cos, we each bought a cup of latte and hot chocolate for the kids before heading for the car.

Next we drove down to Chinatown. Ah Dear dropped us at the Little Bourke Street before he headed off to find parking, esp it's really hard to find a parking slot in the city. We went into a Chinese restaurant that sells roast pork, chicken and duck. I managed to sneak out during lunch, trying to get my Aloe Vera gel. I had been trying to look around to get it, but failed. Thank God, i managed to find the tubes of gel at the pharmacy at Myers! Yeah Yeah! After lunch, we decided to walk to the car, to digest the food.

Along the walk, this is the conversation with John:

John: mummy I have no energy.
Me: ok.. (don't know what's my son driving to)
John: can u carry my bag... please
Me: stunned like vegetable

Luckily we set off early, as we drove the opposite direction of the airport. . I guess both Ah Dear and I were too tired after these 9 days while the rest were sleeping in the car after lunch. Pengz... Poor driver + tour guide! Both of us have to stay awake till we reached the airport!

On the flight back, conversation with Joy:

Joyjoy: mummy, can you give me my bottle of milk later.
me: why, it's not yr milk time yet.
joyjoy: later i drink milk, then the ears no pain pain. (remember what her Xiao gu told her when we flew fr SG to Mel)
me: oh.. ok ok, later you have yr kid meal for dinner, I give you sweets to eat and yr ears will not be pain pain. Pengz!

Joyjoy is overjoyed with the sweets!
